Mr. Wheelchair

Mr. Wheelchair is a mobility-equipment business on Frankford Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, offering sales, service, and repair support for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Its work also includes batteries, rentals, and house calls or delivery arrangements, making the business relevant to customers who depend on powered equipment in everyday life.

Owner Mike is a central figure in customer descriptions of the shop. One mobility-scooter user recalls having a machine collected for new batteries and returned after service, while other accounts focus on straightforward mechanical help when equipment stopped working properly. Those examples illustrate the personal service associated with a smaller mobility repair operation.

The shop provides equipment and maintenance options under one roof. Battery replacement is particularly significant for mobility-scooter owners, as reliable power affects whether the machine can be used for ordinary errands and travel. Rentals may also serve short-term needs while longer-term equipment decisions are made.

Located in the Frankford Avenue corridor, Mr. Wheelchair serves customers in Northeast Philadelphia and nearby communities. Reported experiences are varied, so the specific customer stories should remain attributed rather than presented as guarantees of pricing or results.
