MediEquip — South County

MediEquip's South County store on South Lindbergh Boulevard brings home medical equipment and mobility products into a showroom where customers can compare options in person. The locally owned business carries mobility scooters, wheelchairs, lift chairs, walkers, hospital beds, and home-care supplies, including equipment that may be difficult to evaluate from photographs alone.

The chance to try different products is a notable part of the shopping experience. Customers describe staff explaining the differences between models, giving them time to make decisions, and helping with scooter test rides. Those interactions are especially useful when comfort, maneuverability, or the layout of a home affects the choice.

MediEquip also provides delivery support. One family recalls the team arranging a hospital bed quickly after another discharge-related delivery plan fell through, with staff taking extra time to make sure the equipment was ready at home. That story reflects an individual customer experience, not a guaranteed same-day service.

The business has served the St. Louis area since 1997 and operates more than one local showroom. South County's combination of hands-on shopping, equipment guidance, and home-care products gives customers a practical place to explore mobility solutions.
