Cycle Gear

Cycle Gear in South County St. Louis is a motorcycle apparel and accessories retailer with a broad selection of equipment for riders. The store's racks include helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, tires, and other riding essentials, allowing shoppers to compare items in person rather than relying entirely on online sizing charts.

Helmet fitting is a particularly memorable part of customer accounts. One first-time buyer recalls staff member DK helping her try different models until she found a comfortable fit. Other new riders describe getting patient explanations of equipment features and the differences between helmet brands before making a purchase.

The location also appears in accounts of tire mounting, including a customer whose tires were fitted while he waited. Cycle Gear's relationship with RevZilla offers another route to products not immediately stocked in the local store, although individual item availability can vary.

The South County shop is oriented toward protective gear, riding apparel, and practical accessories rather than vehicle sales. Its value for scooter and motorcycle riders lies in being able to handle helmets, clothing, and equipment before buying. Customers chiefly know the store for equipment selection, helmet fitting, and riding accessories rather than general mechanical repairs.
