Great Western of Hickory

Great Western of Hickory is a multi-brand powersports dealership formerly known as Kawasaki Suzuki Yamaha of Hickory. Its location on 13th Avenue Drive Northwest carries motorcycles from Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki, with motor scooters also represented. The Yamaha Zuma 125 appears among scooter models associated with the business, providing an example of the smaller powered vehicles available alongside larger motorcycles.

The dealership operates parts and service departments for supported machines. Source accounts describe staff communication during purchases and repairs, with Derek and Brad named in customer experiences. Customers can discuss routine maintenance, more involved mechanical work, and parts ordering with the appropriate department. Because the business handles numerous brands and vehicle categories, scooter owners should confirm model compatibility and service details before dropping off a machine. Older inventory information is not a guarantee that any particular scooter remains available.

Great Western serves Hickory and surrounding western North Carolina communities from its 13th Avenue Drive Northwest location. Published hours cover weekdays and a shorter Saturday period. The business also notes military discounts, which should be confirmed for current eligibility and purchases. Its established ties to Japanese powersports brands are central to its local role.
