Carolina Pedal Works

Carolina Pedal Works is a full-service bicycle and e-bike shop operating in Hickory's Historic Hollar Mill. Its bicycle selection includes Trek, Yeti, and Pinarello, with both conventional and electric-assisted options. The unusual mill setting also includes a cycling cafe serving coffee and other drinks, giving customers a place to spend time while discussing equipment or waiting for workshop service.

Mechanics provide fitting, tune-ups, diagnostic work, wheel service, and component upgrades. Staff members Jason, Tyler, and Ryan are identified in source descriptions of the business. Electric mountain bikes and commuter bicycles are among the machines handled, but customers should still check compatibility before requesting specialized motor or battery work. Having a working shop next to the retail space allows riders to discuss new equipment and maintenance with the same team.

The Historic Hollar Mill location connects Carolina Pedal Works to Hickory's cycling community and nearby riding routes. The business serves customers seeking e-bikes, conventional bicycles, and technical support in a locally distinctive environment. Its mix of workshop, product selection, and cafe space separates it from an online-only bicycle seller or a stand-alone electric scooter dealer.
