Zane's Cycles

Zane's Cycles has been selling and servicing bicycles in Branford since 1980, making its 330 East Main Street storefront a longstanding resource for riders east of New Haven. Trek bicycles share the showroom with road, mountain, commuter, and children's bikes. Its electric selection has included models from Benno, Giant, and Momentum, offering several directions for shoppers interested in pedal assistance.

The store promotes unusually extensive post-purchase programs, including lifetime service and parts warranty terms, a price-protection period, and a test-ride exchange policy for qualifying bicycle purchases. A family-oriented trade-in and upgrade program supports younger riders as they grow, while fittings and accessories round out the everyday services. Customer comments emphasize patient assistance and responsive maintenance, including repairs on electric bicycles.

Published operating hours cover weekdays, Saturday, and a Sunday afternoon window. Customers should review the current terms of any lifetime or exchange offers instead of assuming every model qualifies. The store is particularly relevant to cyclists who want a combination of e-bike selection, maintenance, fitting, and equipment advice. Its documented business is bicycle-focused, not a gas-powered scooter operation.
