Wheel & Sprocket - Fox Point

Wheel & Sprocket in Fox Point has earned a reputation for being the kind of bike shop people return to for years. Its Santa Monica Boulevard location combines bicycle sales and service with mechanics who take time to identify problems and explain the work. Some customers describe a relationship with the shop stretching back more than three decades.

The service stories are full of ordinary but important details: an older bike prepared for a new rider, a thorough spring tune-up, and cleaning that made a well-used bicycle look refreshed. A staff member named Phil has been recognized for careful setup and practical riding advice. Customers also mention approachable mechanics and occasional small fixes handled without an additional charge.

That combination of mechanical knowledge and personal attention is useful whether someone is preparing for the cycling season or troubleshooting an issue that developed during a ride. Rather than relying on a one-time sale, the Fox Point team has built repeat relationships around keeping bicycles comfortable and dependable. North Shore riders can visit for parts, advice, and maintenance from a shop with an established place in the local cycling community.
