VeloCity Cycles

VeloCity Cycles is a family-run bicycle shop on 22nd Avenue in Tuscaloosa, close to the University of Alabama, where the sales floor spans kids' bikes, road models, and mountain bikes. The staff take visible care with first-time buyers: one account describes Logan helping a two-and-a-half-year-old choose a first bike, unhurried and attentive to what a toddler purchase demands.

A buyer named Jennifer rode out on a Diverge Elite after working through the options with the team. The service department covers tune-ups, repairs, and race preparation, and the mechanics talk through options before picking up a wrench. The shop stays connected to the local riding scene, including the Tuscaloosa Mountain Flyers. Its position near campus draws students, faculty, and club riders, and the atmosphere is set up to welcome newcomers alongside experienced cyclists.

Sizing, setup, and honest advice are the through-lines, whether the purchase is a child's first bike or a serious road machine.
