United Access - Houston

United Access in Houston focuses on wheelchair-accessible vehicles and adaptive driving equipment. At its North Sam Houston Parkway location, the business offers new and used BraunAbility vehicles alongside rental options for people who need accessible transportation. Its work centers on vehicles and equipment rather than conventional scooter sales or repair.

The Houston team installs adaptive accessories such as hand controls and scooter lifts. These additions can make a personal vehicle more practical for someone who uses a mobility device, and the shop's equipment knowledge is an important part of its offering. Customers describe having hand controls installed with parts already available at the branch.

Help with the paperwork is another distinctive service. Staff assist customers navigating Veterans Affairs grant requirements and insurance arrangements connected with vehicle rentals. Longtime clients describe returning over the years, sometimes for more than one accessible vehicle, and appreciate explanations that make a complicated purchase easier to understand.

Brent, Nataly or Natalie, Mike, Karen Maldonado, Alex, and Will are among the people mentioned in customer accounts. Those accounts also describe clean rental vans and an approachable staff. The emphasis throughout is on accessible transportation and adaptive equipment for Houston-area customers.
