Union Cycle

Union Cycle has the character of an established downtown bike shop, where people come for both equipment and practical advice. Located on Pleasant Street in Attleboro, it sells bicycles, accessories, and skateboards, and its workshop lists electric-bike repair alongside conventional service and bicycle fitting. That gives local riders a place to address everyday mechanical needs without navigating a large dealership.

The people behind the counter are a significant part of the shop’s reputation. Owner Rick and mechanic Ron are associated with patient explanations, thoughtful bike recommendations, and hands-on repairs. Customers describe small fixes completed quickly, help with a flat before opening time, and even the loan of a tool when it made the difference between riding and being stranded.

For someone buying a first e-bike, getting the fit right and understanding basic maintenance can be as valuable as choosing a model. Union Cycle's approach emphasizes those conversations as well as the sale. Regular commuters and recreational cyclists can turn to the shop for accessories, adjustments, and service, with an approachable atmosphere that rewards stopping in to ask a question.
