Travis Cycle

Travis Cycle has served Taunton riders since 1999, with electric bicycles taking a prominent place alongside its traditional bike selection. From the Oak Street shop, customers can compare e-bike models, ask questions about day-to-day use, and get help choosing a size and setup that feels comfortable. The business also participates in the Massachusetts e-bike voucher program, bringing an additional purchasing option to eligible riders.

Owner Joe is frequently associated with detailed explanations and attentive bike fitting. The store offers computerized fitting with bicycle purchases, and its mechanics work on bikes from different manufacturers rather than limiting service to machines sold in-house. Some of the most memorable service accounts involve small gestures, such as a brake adjustment handled in the parking lot or a new bike made ready the same day.

Those details give the shop a practical, approachable character. Buying an electric bicycle can involve unfamiliar components and new riding habits, so a patient explanation matters as much as the initial test. With conventional bikes, electric models, fitting help, and a repair bench in one location, Travis Cycle serves both newcomers to pedal assistance and longtime cyclists who want dependable local support.
