The Motorcycle Shop

For decades, The Motorcycle Shop has been part of San Antonio's scooter scene, known locally as Vespa San Antonio. The family-owned business has served riders since 1978 from its Austin Highway location, bringing together new and used scooters, motorcycles, parts, and service under one roof.

The scooter selection spans several familiar names, including Vespa, Piaggio, Kymco, Genuine, Lance, and SYM. That gives buyers a chance to compare different approaches to everyday riding, from classic Italian styling to other practical motor-scooter options. The shop also carries helmets, jackets, gloves, and other accessories needed to get on the road.

The workshop looks after scooters and motorcycles from a variety of brands. Customers describe returning for maintenance over the years and appreciate staff who take time to explain mechanical issues or walk someone through a purchase without unnecessary pressure. The personal knowledge available at the counter is part of what distinguishes an established specialist from a general powersports warehouse.

Whether someone is buying a first scooter, arranging service on a longtime favorite, or finding replacement parts, the Austin Highway store remains centered on the everyday needs of San Antonio's two-wheel riders.
