Sun Powersports

Sun Powersports is a long-established, family-owned dealership in Thornton, north of Denver. Founded in 1972 according to its company history, it operates from a large Washington Street property with two showrooms, a parts operation, and space for a wide assortment of powered recreational vehicles.

Its manufacturer list is unusually broad. Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, GASGAS, Polaris, Can-Am, Sea-Doo, Surron, and several other brands appear alongside models ranging from motorcycles and scooters to ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft. That mix makes it possible to compare very different types of vehicles in one place.

The service department describes work covering maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and customization, supported by technicians trained for its vehicle lines. Parts, riding apparel, and accessories support owners who already have machines and want to maintain or equip them for a particular use.

The dealership also advertises financing and insurance options, model preorders, and custom builds. The scale of the showroom and workshop stands out, although details such as brand availability and current services are subject to change. The published information is largely company-supplied rather than independently verified customer feedback.
