Sports Basement - Campbell

Sports Basement Campbell sits in the Pruneyard Shopping Center, where a full-service bike shop operates inside the larger sports and outdoor retailer. Customers can combine a bicycle repair or e-bike purchase with shopping for winter sports, fitness, and everyday outdoor equipment.

The workshop handles flats, adjustments, tune-ups, and more involved mechanical issues. One cyclist had a broken gear repaired overnight while the staff also cleaned disc brakes, and another walked in with a pedal problem that was resolved in about fifteen minutes. Mechanics have helped customers identify unusual wheel components and explained how to handle them in the future. E-bike shopping includes options such as Troxus and Aventon, with staff available to discuss different choices.

Mike, Josef, and Jimmy have been recognized for capable, honest work in the bike department. Visitors also appreciate the broad merchandise selection, membership discounts, and support for community organizations. At times the store can be busy or short-staffed, but the Campbell location offers a useful combination of hands-on bike service and the variety of a larger outdoor retailer.
