Spoken Bicycles

Spoken Bicycles brings a social side to cycling that goes beyond buying a bike or booking a tune-up. Founded in 2017 by Otto Bohn and Mallory Greenham, the business serves riders around Hamilton and Middletown with bicycle sales, gear, workshop service, and mobile repairs. Its shop-with-a-bar idea adds craft beer and cocktails to the usual bike-shop atmosphere.

The mechanical help can come to the customer rather than always requiring a trip to the store. Otto has stopped by a workplace to repair a broken chain and collected bicycles from someone's home for servicing before bringing them back ready to ride. Customers also describe a flat e-bike tire fixed within a day.

Communication is another recurring strength. One rider received clear updates through a full bicycle overhaul, and the shop has built a reputation for practical attention to individual problems rather than treating every repair like a routine transaction.

With a presence in both Hamilton and downtown Middletown, Spoken combines a working repair service with a place where cyclists can linger after a ride. The result is a local business whose personality matters as much as its bicycles, and whose electric-bike assistance includes tire service.
