Southern Mobility and Medical - Concord

Choosing mobility equipment often involves more than reading specifications, and Southern Mobility and Medical in Concord addresses that with hands-on guidance. The Weddington Road Extension location carries mobility scooters, power wheelchairs, and lift-and-recline chairs, while offering consultations, in-home trial options, and assistance arranging service.

Hector is a recurring name in customer accounts. One shopper recalls getting help selecting a mobility scooter and sorting out a sales-tax issue. Another describes the company sending a temporary lift chair when an ordered chair was delayed by an ice storm just before knee surgery. That kind of problem-solving can make a real difference when equipment is needed on a particular day.

Service experiences also include straightforward appointment scheduling and a technician who explained a lift-chair problem and the cost of repair clearly. The business pairs its Concord showroom with another location in Raleigh, and its online store serves customers beyond North Carolina.

For someone considering a first scooter, replacing a power wheelchair, or choosing a chair for recovery at home, Southern Mobility and Medical offers both product selection and a way to talk through individual needs. Its published resources also address insurance considerations and purchasing mobility equipment directly.
