South Maui Bicycles

South Maui Bicycles is a Kihei Trek dealer offering electric models alongside conventional bicycles, rentals and mechanical service. and Ponto Go! e-bikes -- alongside rentals, repairs, cycling clothing, and nutrition. A public bike pump outside the shop saved a cyclist with a flat tire after closing time.

Rental bikes are well-maintained and properly adjusted, with road bikes upgraded on the spot when a reservation falls through. E-assist rentals make longer South Maui rides manageable for mixed-ability groups. For Kihei locals and visitors alike, it is the neighborhood Trek shop with a service bench that treats every bike like it matters.

The shop recently moved to its current location, a welcome upgrade, and the service department is a point of pride: staff members Jimmy and Zack are professional and honest, and a rider's cracked frame got a creative fix that had the bike rideable again fast. The recorded hours are Monday through Saturday ten to six, closed Sundays.
