Small Planet eBikes

Small Planet eBikes has specialized in electric bicycles in San Antonio since around 2010, giving the South Alamo Street business a longer history with the technology than many newer retailers. Located in the Southtown and King William area, it sells and services e-bikes while also working on conventional bicycles.

Electric cycling has changed considerably over that period. Early systems and today's more refined motor-assisted designs can present different ownership questions, and a shop dedicated to e-bikes provides a place to discuss the equipment rather than treating electric models as a small add-on to a larger inventory.

The South Alamo location fits naturally into one of San Antonio's walkable, cycling-friendly neighborhoods. Downtown and south-side riders can find a specialist business close to urban routes where an electric bicycle can be useful for errands and recreation alike.

The San Antonio business on South Alamo Street is separate from an older Dallas location that shared the name. Here, Small Planet continues the local electric-bike retail and maintenance work for which the Southtown shop is known.
