Segway of Charleston

Segway of Charleston offers a different experience from a typical scooter dealership: visitors can explore Mount Pleasant on guided Segway rides. From Coleman Boulevard, the business runs one- and two-hour tours around the Old Village Historic District, with instruction included before riders head out. It also rents Segway personal transporters and offers them for sale.

Rental arrangements include short outings and longer bookings for people already comfortable using the devices. The business describes its Segways as quiet, fully electric transporters and says rooftop solar panels help charge them. Tour and rental information includes participant weight limits, so guests should review the conditions when reserving. This is a Segway transporter operation rather than a conventional motorcycle or gas-moped service shop.

The address is 695 Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. Tours and rentals operate by advance appointment or reservation, with availability advertised seven days a week. Customers can call 843-834-0725 to ask about tour duration, booking times, training, or rental eligibility. The emphasis is on guided local exploration and access to Segway transporters, not workshop repairs.
