On the Go Mobility

Located on the main floor at 405 East Mill Street in downtown Plymouth, On the Go Mobility is the area's dedicated mobility equipment shop. Owner Kraig Ausman moved the business to Plymouth in September 2024 after twenty-five years in Milwaukee, operating it as his single location. The shop sells and rents new and used mobility equipment: scooters, power wheelchairs, lift chairs, walkers and rollators, bath and bathroom equipment, stairlifts and vertical platform lifts, ramps, and stairlift parts.

Its service department handles repairs with factory-trained staff, working from a principle the site states plainly: the shop services what it sells. Carried brands include Pride Mobility, Golden Technologies, Drive Mobility, Invacare, Shoprider, Merits, and EV Rider, plus lift lines such as Bruno, Harmar, and Handicare. The storefront draws attention with playful window displays, including an inflatable turkey mounted atop a scooter.

Hours are weekdays nine to three. Ausman, who uses a mobility scooter himself, entered the business after struggling to find in-stock scooters for his father decades earlier.
