Mountainside Ski & Sports

Mountainside Ski & Sports has operated in Mechanicsburg since 1972 and is located at 5142 East Trindle Road. The family-owned business combines cycling merchandise with ski, snowboard, and racket-sports equipment. Its bicycle selection includes conventional road and mountain bikes as well as electric-assist options, with brands such as Specialized, Jamis, Felt, Raleigh, and Litespeed associated with the store.

A bicycle workshop offers tune-up packages, flat repairs, fork installation, and routine maintenance. Customers can also shop for components, riding accessories, and transport racks, including Thule systems. During the winter season the shop's expertise shifts toward skiing and snowboarding, with boot fitting, lease programs, and race-focused products. Swap events and support for local sporting activities are also part of the business's community involvement. E-bike owners should discuss a particular motor and battery system with the mechanics before assuming electrical repairs are available.

The East Trindle Road location serves Mechanicsburg and nearby Harrisburg-area communities. No complete verified opening schedule is given in the business history, so confirm shop hours and appointments directly. The electric vehicles listed here are bicycles with pedal assistance, not road-going scooters or medical mobility devices.
