MobilityWorks

MobilityWorks operates an accessible-vehicle showroom and service facility on Sheridan Drive in Amherst, serving customers around Buffalo. The business concentrates on wheelchair-accessible vans and equipment that makes transportation possible for people using mobility devices. Its vehicle selection includes products from BraunAbility, Vantage Mobility, and Driverge Vehicle Innovations, with rentals and service available alongside sales.

Scooters and wheelchair lifts are part of the wider mobility offering, as are hand controls and related adaptations. The company's approach involves helping customers find a transportation setup that suits their equipment, vehicle, and everyday needs. A lift may be essential for bringing a mobility scooter along, while an accessible van can provide space and entry features that ordinary vehicles lack.

The Amherst location brings these options into one specialized setting, backed by MobilityWorks' broader vehicle-service resources. Its workshop focuses on accessible automobiles and the equipment installed in them rather than stand-alone scooter repair. For customers weighing an adapted vehicle, a rental, or a transport lift, MobilityWorks provides local access to transportation products and service geared toward making travel more manageable with a wheelchair or scooter.
