Mobility City of Omaha

Mobility City of Omaha provides repair and equipment support for people who rely on wheelchairs and medical mobility scooters. Its northwest Omaha location on North 132nd Street is owned by Obi and Jerome Okolo, whose stated focus includes serving Nebraska veterans. The operation has worked with VA healthcare facilities and networks, as well as residents of the wider Omaha area.

Technicians service powered scooters, wheelchairs, and other medical mobility devices both at the shop and at customer locations. Calls can extend to homes, care facilities, and the Omaha VA Medical Center when transporting equipment is difficult. The store also supplies powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lift chairs, batteries, ramps, and related accessories.

Accreditation and technician screening are part of the business's work with veterans and other clients. Its mission is centered on reducing the disruption caused when an essential device stops working. Customers seeking repairs can explain the device and its symptoms before arranging an in-shop or field appointment. The products are assistive mobility equipment, not recreational road scooters.
