Mike's Team Active Bikes

Mike’s Team Active Bikes gives Battle Creek cyclists a place to explore everything from children’s bikes and gravel setups to electric models from Specialized and Cannondale. The downtown Michigan Avenue shop offers an indoor track for test rides, a useful feature for shoppers deciding between different frame sizes and riding styles. Its inventory also spans road, mountain, and hybrid bicycles.

Owner Mike and the staff handle workshop repairs as well as Retül bike fitting. Their approach often includes explaining what a bicycle needs and adjusting a setup to the rider, rather than simply selling a model off the floor. Travelers passing through Battle Creek have received help with shifting issues during long-distance trips. Group rides and practical maintenance classes connect the business with cyclists beyond the sales counter.

Thule and Sidi accessories are among the supporting products carried in the shop. Customers have described repairs on both nearly new bicycles and much older machines, although expectations about follow-up adjustments should be discussed before work begins. The store opens on weekdays and Saturdays, serving local riders who want a full-service cycling shop with electric bikes to compare.
