Locomotion E-Bikes

Locomotion E-Bikes in McKinney is a small, personally operated electric bicycle shop where owner Dave and his wife appear frequently in customer experiences. Visitors describe taking time to learn about e-bike features, compare models, and find a bicycle suited to their size and intended riding.

First-time buyers recount receiving detailed explanations before a purchase, then having a bicycle adjusted before leaving. Test rides are part of the experience, with some customers trying several bikes before making a decision. The educational approach is especially useful for someone unfamiliar with battery assistance or the differences between available e-bike styles.

The workshop also handles service. Individual examples include converting Lectric bicycles to hydraulic brakes, installing accessories, and fixing a flat tire for a traveler who needed to continue a ride. Customers discuss returning for maintenance as well as buying a new machine.

The business's scale is part of its character: owners are closely involved in both sales conversations and equipment preparation. The supported specialization is electric bicycle sales and service, not necessarily kick scooter repairs.
