Laughing Dog Bicycles

Laughing Dog Bicycles is a longtime Amherst bicycle shop whose inventory and repair services include electric models. Pricing is honest and fair, with the team explaining what a repair will cost before the work starts, and warranty issues are handled without a fight. E-bikes are part of the service mix alongside acoustic bikes.

For Pioneer Valley cyclists who want their bike fixed right the first time, Laughing Dog is the established local bench. Staff members Parker, Stephen, and Nate are known for knowledgeable, careful work, and the shop handles everything from routine tune-ups to complex diagnostics on brands including Trek, Knolly, Niner, Surly, and Soma.

A rider regretted authorizing a two-hundred-fifty-dollar repair on an older bike, and another questioned the shop's e-bike electrical competence, but the prevailing view is of a dependable hometown shop. Hours run Tuesday through Saturday with Monday closed, and the shop's Levy Electric partner page is online-order only.
