Ken's Bike Ski Board

Ken's Bike Ski Board has been part of Davis since Ken opened the business in 1988. Located on G Street, it covers three pursuits under one roof: bicycles, skiing and snowboarding. That mix makes the shop useful beyond the usual cycling season, with repair work and equipment services extending to snow sports as well.

For electric-bike shoppers, the selection has included Marin models such as the Lombard E2, Fairfax E, Sausalito E, Alpine Trail E and Pine Mountain E. The business also offers traditional bicycle service, tune-ups, trailer rentals and trail-a-bike rentals. Mechanics work on bikes as well as skis and snowboards, allowing customers to return with different kinds of equipment during the year.

Ken's has a particularly long relationship with its cycling community. The shop has received recognition in area bike-shop polls since 2007 and was acknowledged by a national bicycle-shop awards program in 2014. Those distinctions sit alongside its everyday work helping Davis riders maintain, rent and choose equipment.

Find Ken's at 650 G Street in Davis. Its longstanding local presence, Marin electric-bike options and combined bike-and-snow-sports workshop give it a different character from a single-category retail store.
