JBird Bike Shop

JBird Bike Shop sits beside the Lafitte Greenway on St. Louis Street in New Orleans, with electric bicycles at the heart of its business. The store carries Gotrax, Aventon, and Lectric e-bikes and gives shoppers the opportunity to take test rides before choosing a model. It also participates in the local NOLA e-bike incentive program, helping eligible customers explore voucher-backed purchases.

Behind the sales floor is a workshop that handles both routine bicycle problems and more involved electric-bike faults. Services include flat-tire fixes, brake work, and electrical diagnostics, with a free initial assessment available for bikes brought in for repair. People who purchased an e-bike online can also arrange professional assembly rather than tackling the setup alone.

The shop emphasizes assembled electric bikes with independently tested battery, motor, and charger systems, including models bearing UL certification. That safety focus fits its broader approach to helping customers buy and maintain electric rides. JBird's Greenway location makes it a natural stop for neighborhood cyclists, while its combination of test rides, assembly, and repairs supports people at different stages of e-bike ownership.
