Hawa E-Bikes (Pahoa)

The Pahoa location of Hawa E-Bikes serves the Puna side of the Big Island from Pahoa Village, extending the footprint of the family-operated electric bike business based in Hilo. As an official Mokwheel dealer, the operation sells and rents electric bikes including the Mokwheel Obsidian ST and Basalt ST lines, and pairs rentals with a self-guided tour app that layers GPS navigation with local history, legends and facts.

Short-term and long-term rentals come with a safety demonstration, helmet, security lock, trunk bag or cooler bag, phone holder, clip-on speaker, gel comfort seats and a fluorescent vest. The business also organizes demo days where riders can try bikes before buying, plus group rides, workshops and community events, and offers delivery to local accommodations. From Pahoa, riders can reach the lower Puna district and the roads toward Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
