Guthrie Bicycle

Guthrie Bicycle's Sugar House location is a long-established Salt Lake City cycling shop where sales, repairs, and candid advice share equal importance. The store carries traditional bicycles along with Class 1 and Class 3 electric models, including Trek commuter options. Its mechanics work on a wide range of everyday problems, from flat tires and chains to more involved repairs.

Staff members Preston and Jake have been recognized for helping customers navigate warranty questions, drivetrain issues, and first-time purchases without unnecessary pressure. The shop also explains the limits of its electric-bike services: it works on certain pedal-assist categories but does not undertake electronics work on Class 2 and Class 4 throttle-equipped e-bikes. That clarity is useful when an owner is deciding where to bring a particular model.

For riders near East 2100 South, Guthrie offers the familiarity of an independent shop with technical experience and service options tailored to individual needs. Customers can seek fittings, repairs, and help comparing new bikes. Its combination of practical workshop knowledge and approachable sales guidance gives the business an enduring neighborhood appeal.
