East Coast Bicycle Academy

East Coast Bicycle Academy is a small Harrisonburg operation built around owner Les Welch’s many years as a bicycle mechanic. Its Greystone Street shop works by appointment, focusing on careful diagnosis and personalized repairs rather than high-volume retail. Levy electric scooters have appeared among the shop’s listed products, providing a possible option for local riders interested in stand-up electric transport.

Traveling cyclists have described receiving timely mechanical help while passing through the Shenandoah Valley. Customers also note methodical work and straightforward repair charges, with time spent understanding a problem before choosing a solution. That experience is rooted in bicycle service, and it should not automatically be taken as proof of motor or controller repairs for every brand of electric kick-scooter.

The business has a limited schedule, including selected weekday and Sunday opening hours, and its older website is no longer available. Prospective customers should therefore contact the shop before visiting, especially to check current Levy scooter inventory or arrange an appointment. Its established strengths are personal attention and bicycle mechanics, with the electric-scooter retail connection requiring model-specific confirmation.
