Drexel Hill Cyclery

Drexel Hill Cyclery has served the Upper Darby area of Delaware County for more than fifty years, combining bicycle retail and mechanical repair with the character of a longstanding neighborhood business. A church affiliation is also mentioned in the shop’s history, adding an unusual dimension to its local identity.

Mechanic Frank appears in customer accounts about repair advice and buying decisions. Riders describe patient explanations and help choosing equipment based on what they actually need. Those experiences distinguish a small neighborhood shop from the experience of shopping for bicycles in a general department store.

Electric scooters appear among the business’s listed offerings, creating a connection to smaller electric vehicles in addition to its longstanding bicycle focus. The reported electric-scooter offerings complement its long-established bicycle sales and repair activity.

The Burmont Road location serves Upper Darby and surrounding Delaware County communities. Its history, bicycle-service reputation, and reported scooter offerings give Drexel Hill Cyclery a distinctive place among local shops, with the exact scope of newer electric-vehicle work still to be clarified.
