Dorsch's Scooter Shop

Dorsch's Scooter Shop is an independent repair and sales business on Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn, Maryland, with a particular interest in affordable Chinese-made motor scooters. Rather than presenting a wall of European premium brands, the shop concentrates on small-engine, four-stroke machines and the everyday parts and mechanical problems that come with them.

That specialization is useful for owners of budget-oriented scooters who may have trouble finding a larger dealership willing to work on their model. Dorsch's offers scooter sales, parts, maintenance, and repairs, giving customers a place to bring an existing machine as well as somewhere to ask about another one.

The operation has the feel of a focused neighborhood shop. Its work centers on practical transportation and keeping small scooters usable, instead of the broader motorcycle and recreational powersports inventory seen at many regional dealers. The Ritchie Highway location serves Brooklyn and neighboring communities south of Baltimore.

Customers can visit the shop or call (410) 636-6101 about service. Its published schedule includes daytime hours Monday through Saturday, so people arranging a repair may find it useful to plan around the shorter opening window rather than expecting evening drop-offs.
