Dave's Road Bikes

Dave's Road Bikes approaches bicycle buying through fit and individual attention. Located on Forrest Avenue in Dover, the shop has a studio for scheduled appointments that match a bicycle to the rider's geometry. Its selection is geared toward road, triathlon, gravel, fitness and hybrid cycling, with electric models from brands including Marin, Fuji, Delta and Buzz.

Owner Dave works with customers from choosing the bike through later upgrades or warranty matters. The workshop services many conventional bicycle brands and supports the electric models the shop sells. Component changes and even insurance-related work on damaged frames fall within the shop's experience. Customers interested in an electric bike can therefore discuss both the initial fit and the support likely to be available afterward.

The business has a strong connection with regional riding, including a Thursday shop ride linked with Delaware State Triathlon and support for charitable cycling events. Racing and training accessories are available in-store. Its emphasis is bicycles and pedal-assist systems, not motorcycles or gas scooters, and fit appointments are best arranged ahead of a visit.
