About Cycle Works
Cycle Works has served Lawrence cyclists on Kasold Drive since 1973, with electric bicycles included among its traditional offerings. Inventory includes road, gravel, mountain, and electric bikes as well as trikes, tandems, and recumbents, with brands including Giant and Santa Cruz, plus a wide accessories department. Its workshop handles everything from flat fixes and tune-ups to wheel builds, overhauls, and restorations, and routine repairs are often completed within a day.
Owner Keith M. answers customer feedback personally, and the staff works through unusual mechanical problems rather than turning away bikes other shops would not touch.
Listed hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday; the phone is (785) 842-6363 and the site is kscycleworks.com. The shop sits in the 66047 ZIP code on the southwest side of town. Its Kasold Drive location puts the store within easy reach of southwest Lawrence neighborhoods and nearby riding routes.
