Competitive Gear

Competitive Gear is an Erie cycling retailer on West Twelfth Street with a strong interest in performance bicycles. It is identified as a Trek dealer with electric options across road and mountain categories. The original product pages mention the Domane+ SLR 6 e-road bike, Powerfly FS 4, and Marlin+ 6, reflecting several approaches to pedal assistance for different terrain.

The shop combines sales with bicycle repairs, diagnostics, tune-ups, parts, and accessories. In customer accounts, a newer rider received detailed instructions about a purchase, while Peter helped a visiting cyclist resume a trip after a mechanical issue. The source also mentions relationships extending back many years and bikes shipped successfully to customers farther away. Such examples suggest experience with both routine and specialized cycling questions rather than a narrow sales-only operation.

Erie riders can use the shop to compare electric road and trail bikes or ask about ongoing care for an existing bicycle. Its documented electric models support inclusion as an e-bike provider. Buyers should confirm current inventory, and service customers should identify their motor system before scheduling complex electrical work.
