Central District Cyclery

Central District Cyclery blends urban cycling culture with a retail and service shop on Plainfield Avenue NE in Grand Rapids' Creston area. The store includes an Ibis showroom and stocks shoes, clothing, components, and other cycling essentials. Rides and group activities connect it with people who use bicycles both for recreation and around the city.

Someone curious about electric assistance does not have to decide after a brief lap around a parking lot. The shop offers e-bike experiences lasting an hour, two hours, or even a full day, providing time to get a better feel for the ride. The maintenance area handles bicycle repairs, and pickup and delivery are available for service jobs, which can help customers unable to transport a damaged bike.

The Plainfield storefront is particularly relevant to riders who value a community-oriented shop and the chance to try an e-bike before buying. Central District is particularly well suited to bicycle maintenance and taking an electric bicycle out for a longer trial ride, with a community-minded atmosphere around the shop.
