Cedar Bicycle

Scranton riders looking for an electric bicycle can compare models in person at Cedar Bicycle on Pittston Avenue. The established independent store carries Trek and Specialized, with a broad selection of traditional and pedal-assist bikes. Test rides help shoppers judge handling, riding position, and assistance levels before choosing a model. Having a physical showroom also makes it easier to ask questions about sizing and day-to-day ownership instead of relying entirely on online descriptions.

Cedar Bicycle pairs its sales floor with a full service department. Its mechanics provide tune-ups, braking and drivetrain work, and attention to the electrical components of supported e-bikes. The shop also stocks practical equipment such as locks, lights, and racks, along with maintenance parts. Assembly, fitting, and warranty-related assistance give customers a continuing point of contact after a purchase.

The Pittston Avenue location serves Scranton and surrounding Lackawanna County communities. Published hours include weekdays and Saturday, although customers should confirm the schedule before traveling. For those weighing an e-bike purchase against conventional cycling, Cedar Bicycle offers the benefit of discussing both options with the same local team.
