Castro Valley Cyclery

Castro Valley Cyclery has served East Bay riders since 1982, bringing decades of independent bicycle retail and service to Stanton Avenue. The store carries Ibis, BMC, and Specialized bicycles, offers demo bikes so shoppers can ride before buying, and builds custom wheels for riders who want something specific.

Bike fitting services dial in position for comfort and performance. The service department is known for longstanding quality — fast repairs, fair pricing, and work that keeps customers returning for decades.

John is a name that comes up repeatedly in connection with the shop. The Stanton Avenue location serves Castro Valley's road cyclists, mountain bikers heading for the nearby trails, and commuters who need a dependable local shop.

For riders who value a shop with forty-plus years of continuity, Castro Valley Cyclery combines deep brand inventory, custom build capability, and a repair bench with generational trust. The shop's longevity means its mechanics have seen nearly every drivetrain standard come and go, a depth of experience newer stores cannot match.
