Bob's Sporting Goods

Longview's Bob's Sporting Goods has grown from a family-operated surplus shop into a multi-department store with an electric-bike selection. The bike department stocks Electra bicycles, including the Townie Go! and Ponto Go! electric models, and the store is listed as an authorized Electra dealer. An in-store bike shop handles repairs and adjustments with its own hours, Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sundays.

Today the business fills a 50,000-square-foot building with six specialty departments covering archery, bikes, hunting, fishing, camping, housewares, and boots and workwear, each staffed by people trained in that department. The store takes special orders for hard-to-find items and ships them to customers, and runs an Early Morning Sport Window for early risers.

The main store keeps longer hours, Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Shoppers can reach the store at (360) 425-3870 or through bobsmerch.com.
