Blue Ridge Cyclery

Blue Ridge Cyclery’s North store serves the Hollymead area of Charlottesville from 300 Connor Drive. The location is a Trek dealer, with Electra bicycles and electric models such as the Townie Go! among its offerings. Customers can browse bikes for different types of riding, seek service for an existing bicycle, or ask about rentals before deciding what suits them.

Curtis oversees a workshop whose staff communicate about mechanical problems and expected turnaround. Repairs have included brake noise, fork issues, and tune-ups on bikes that see frequent use. The team also participates in community-oriented activities such as a women’s bike repair night. This branch has been associated with the City of Charlottesville’s e-bike voucher program, adding a local route for eligible customers exploring assisted cycling. Electric-bike service is available, although owners should confirm system compatibility for an unusual model.

The North location remains distinct from other Charlottesville bicycle stores and is convenient to the Hollymead neighborhood. Its blend of retail, rentals, repairs, and local cycling involvement makes it useful for a range of riders. Call (434) 995-2453 about repairs, test rides, and current stock.
