Black Dog Bikes

Black Dog Bikes is a bicycle shop in downtown Staunton, Virginia, at 608 North Augusta Street, serving the area since 2005 with bicycle and e-bike sales, repair, and accessories. The shop stocks bicycles from Specialized, Rocky Mountain, and SE Bikes, plus e-bikes from Aventon and Specialized, and its service department handles repairs, tune-ups, and e-bike maintenance.

Feedback themes point to knowledgeable, patient staff, with James frequently named for road-bike consultations and e-bike guidance, and Brian noted for helping first-time buyers. One account describes a vintage 12-speed Raleigh transformed with a new crankset, chain, and tune-up for under $200. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closed Sunday and Monday.
