Bicycle Connection

Bicycle Connection has been serving greater Baltimore cyclists since 1973, combining a traditional bike-shop approach with a modern selection that includes electric bicycles. Its York Road location in Cockeysville carries Trek, Electra, Salsa, and Bontrager products, while its e-bike section features assisted models suited to different riding styles.

Examples of electric bikes associated with the store include the Trek Verve+ 1 Lowstep LT and Checkpoint+ SL 6 AXS, alongside the throttle-equipped Marin Stinson E ST. The showroom also supports conventional cycling with accessories, rentals, and bikes for different experience levels.

Service is central to the business. Bicycle Connection handles repairs on bikes of any brand, provides professional fitting, and offers trade-ins and financing. Returning customers describe careful attention to detail, useful help locating out-of-stock products, and support that continues well after a purchase. One rider recalls buying several bikes over the years and relying on the same shop for their upkeep.

For northern Baltimore County cyclists, the combination of a long local history, e-bike selection, and broad service makes Bicycle Connection a practical destination. Its focus remains cycling and electric bicycles, rather than gas-powered scooters or motorcycle service.
