Bicycle City

Bicycle City is an independent cycling shop on North Star Drive in Jackson, offering road, mountain, hybrid and electric-assist bicycles. Giant and Trek are among its brands, and the store also carries skateboards and riding accessories. The floor is organized to serve city riders as well as people seeking an off-road or pedal-assist bike.

Owners Alan and Sean lead a team that takes time to understand fit and intended use before recommending a purchase. Customers describe clear explanations of repairs, with shop staff calling about needed work instead of proceeding without discussion. Quick mechanical adjustments are another strength: derailleur work and repairs on triathlon bicycles have been completed promptly, and some minor corrections for store customers have been offered without charge.

The shop functions as a gathering point for local cyclists, including riders preparing for early departures. It also provides a conventional bicycle service bench for flats and other maintenance. Electric-bike customers should identify their particular battery or drive system before arranging work. This is a broad cycling retailer, not a dedicated electric-scooter repair center.
