Berridge Bikes

Berridge Bikes sells electric and conventional bicycles in downtown Texarkana, with detailed fittings, practical service work and help for riders buying their first bike. Terry, the owner and main mechanic, runs patient first-time-bike fittings, gives honest advice on what a rider actually needs, and keeps a laid-back manner that puts newcomers at ease.

The service bench's tune-ups and repairs get bikes riding like new, from gear mechanisms to wheels, and a lay-away plan covers bigger purchases. Staff member Von helps with accessory sales, and a young salesperson walked a first-time road-bike buyer through the transition from her mountain bike.

One couple arrived on a local referral and left to pick up two new bikes the same week. Reported hours are Monday closed, Tuesday through Friday 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Texas Boulevard shop is a downtown Texarkana retailer carrying electric bicycles alongside conventional models and accessories.
