Berkshire Bike and Board

Berkshire Bike and Board is a full-service bike shop in Bloomfield offering road, mountain, hybrid, and electric bicycles, and is described as a major Velotric dealer for the region. New-bike purchases come with free tune-ups, and the business runs a money-back guarantee, a bike trade-in program, and group rides and community events. Customer writing from 2025 and 2026 describes a flat tire fixed quickly by friendly staff, a service manager explaining work thoroughly, and staff member Keith G providing excellent customer support.

An important caveat for visitors: the branch's Google place profile has flagged it as permanently closed, while recent customer writing, current directory pages, and the business's own social links referencing a Bloomfield Grand ReOpening Party point to a closure followed by a reopening. Call ahead before visiting to confirm current hours and operation. Hours have also shown some inconsistency across listings, so confirming the day's schedule when calling is sensible.

For e-bike shoppers, the shop's focus on electric models and its trade-in program make it worth verifying it is open.
