Benidorm Bikes

Benidorm Bikes is an independent Canton shop shaped by serious cycling experience and careful attention to bike fit. Owner Jan named it after the Spanish city where she and her teammates won a world championship team time trial in 1992. That competitive background informs a store that sells quality bicycles and snowboards while taking a thoughtful approach to equipment choices and service.

Customers have highlighted Jan's detailed fitting advice and the way she considers a rider's body, goals, and riding style before recommending changes. Pete, Doug, and Tim have been recognized for preparing a bicycle for a demanding long-distance trip, while another visit involved Pete helping solve an unusual mountain-bike trailer hitch issue. The staff's willingness to explain options rather than push a sale is a recurring part of the experience.

Benidorm Bikes also participates in Connecticut's e-bike incentive program, making electric cycling part of its offering. Whether someone wants a carefully fitted bicycle, needs help preparing for a major ride, or is considering an e-bike, the Canton store brings an experienced perspective to the decision. Its emphasis is on practical suitability and technical understanding, not simply moving another product off the floor.
