Bear Mountain Bike Shop

A Specialized dealer with a full repair bench, Bear Mountain Bike Shop operates on West Waco Drive in Waco, Texas. The shop sells Specialized bicycles and accessories, rents rides including the Specialized Rockhopper Pro hardtail, the full-suspension Camber, and the Salsa Mukluk fat bike, and performs tune-ups and overhauls. Jeremiah is the staff member who greets customers at the door and gets bikes up to working speed.

One rider found the staff know their craft, speak exact terms, and help find the right bike and a plan, with fair pricing. An annual bicycle refit at the shop came with comped labor when an unrelated problem cropped up afterward, with only parts charged. A tire fixed when other shops could not and a starter bike plus carry hitch purchase round out the documented visits.
