Bay Cycles

Bay Cycles is a San Mateo bicycle shop on South El Camino Real, also appearing in some business records under the name Straight Wheel Cycling. Both names are associated with the same location, although the reason for the difference is not fully established by the imported information.

The shop combines bicycle and accessory sales with everyday service work. Customers describe straightforward repairs such as skewer adjustments, tire-related fixes, and adapting a rack to carry a child's seat. These small but practical jobs are an important part of keeping a commuter or family bicycle usable.

Tony is one of the people mentioned in customer accounts, with visitors describing helpful explanations, efficient work, and prices discussed before repairs are undertaken. Those reports give the business more personality than a simple inventory list, though they are individual experiences rather than service guarantees.

For San Mateo riders who need a neighborhood workshop for adjustments, accessories, or general maintenance, Bay Cycles offers an in-person option on a major Peninsula corridor. Its documented activities center on bicycles rather than scooter-specific service.
