Base Camp Cyclery

Base Camp Cyclery is a Castle Rock shop for riders who enjoy mountain trails and appreciate knowledgeable help choosing their equipment. Located on East Allen Street, the store specializes in high-end mountain and electric mountain bikes, with names such as Yeti, Santa Cruz, Allied Cycle Works, Ibis, and Orbea among its offerings.

A good mountain bike has to suit both its rider and the terrain. Staff take time with sizing, fit, suspension questions, and setup, helping customers understand why different bikes behave differently on the trail. Roger is particularly recognized for patient explanations, sensible guidance, and a friendly approach to shoppers at different experience levels.

Alongside sales, Base Camp offers repairs and tune-ups, as well as demo rides and rentals. Those opportunities to try a bike can be valuable before committing to a higher-end model. The team has also shown a willingness to teach practical skills, such as walking a newer cyclist through fixing a flat.

With its Castle Rock location and strong focus on trail-ready equipment, the shop serves cyclists who want more than a quick purchase. Its blend of technical knowledge, rider education, and workshop support makes it a resource for ongoing mountain biking.
